On stage with Dad Manners

Unless you have experienced it, most people are suprised by what it sounds like on stage when playing in a band - it's nothing like what it sound like out front. In our case, the Tom and Simon (guitar & bass) can't really hear much at all of the brass section, which is the best part in my opinion! In turn, we in the brass section often hear too much of Alan (vocals), very little guitar and almost nothing of the keys except for solos (like the intro to Lorraine). We rely on the monitors or in-ear equipment, but nothing is never as good as it was in the sound check for some reason we have yet to figure out!
Also, there is always a lot of eye contact on stage, which is a good way to ensure we are all in the same place, sometimes even to the extent checking we are all playing the same song - it has happened! Watch Dan on drums at the start, getting his cues from Tom and Simon to keep the intro tight.
